Social Cards allows you to customize the way your campaigns looks on social networks and helps you to better engage. You’re able choose a featured image and text to display when your campaign is shared, which helps drive traffic to your website.  You can both create posts manually using the right kind of image OR instruct Facebook for exactly what image you want Facebook to use whenever ANYONE creates a post including the link to your page.

For example, when someone shares content from your site to Facebook, the Facebook crawler will scrape the HTML of the URL that is shared. Take control of what the Facebook crawler picks up from each page by using Open Graph meta tags. These tags provide structured info about the page such as the title, description, preview image, and more.

It’s really important to have your web provider assign open graph tags to the URL of social cards formatted for that network. To find out the image that is currently shared, visit:  https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/  and enter your trade tool link.
