First, still the most common method CRM providers are set up to receive is an ADF/XML formatted email. This format is not generally human-readable. It is designed to be machine readable. The email is sent to a special email address provided to you, by your CRM provider, specifically for you to send to us (and your other 3rd party lead providers). When an email is generated by a lead provider and sent to this email address in the proper format (ADF), a machine reads and interprets the contents of that email and uses the data it gathered to populate a lead in your CRM interface.
