During our Beta period (August 1 → September 30, 2022) we learned from one of our H-D dealers that the following campaign images had been rejected from Harley-Davidson’s MAP compliance team.

The details of the request from Harley-Davidson Corporate MAP Compliance was:

Morning.

Received feedback from MAP and the ad is NOT compliant. Need to add verbiage in both areas of small print on the form fills, as well as in the terms, Gift Cards may not be used towards the sale of a motorcycle purchase. Gift Cards may not be redeemed as cash.

Can this be added to all areas of needs?

Chris advised the dealer that the changes had been made as requested, with the following results:

On August 29th, 2022, Chris mentioned that he originally interpreted “in the terms” to mean part of the footer, and upon later review, determined they ( H-D Compliance ) may have meant on the disclaimers page.

On August 30th, 2022, Chris implemented a change to the Campaign Legal page at: https://my.revups.cards/legal - which can be referenced by clicking on the icon in the upper right hand corner of the page next to the Updated date and reviewing the line items matching the date above.

During our initial launch (November 1, 2022 → February 28, 2023) we learned from one of our H-D dealers that Harley-Davidson’s MAP compliance team had approved their overlay strategy as follows.

The details of the request from Harley-Davidson Corporate MAP Compliance was:

Please approve for use on [name hidden] Harley-Davidson's website for a pop-up overlay (attached).

The TI/TU overlay will work converting on the homepage. Once a website visitor clicks on the graphic, they will be directed to your framed-in TRADE CYCLE page.

You may simply close the overlay if not interested in the Trade banner by clicking the X in the top right corner to close the overlay. Only works once per visit and only pops up on the homepage.
