We love Zapier at Digital Powersports! We use it to automate steps in nearly every business function we have. We have even integrated functionality into the TRADE CYCLE platform that can fire off a “Zap” when your dealership has a new lead.

For complete instructions, send an email to support@digitalpower.solutions and ask us for instructions for Zapier. This will start a ticker where we can get you the most updated information and you can provide us with the webhook endpoint that Zapier will give you as part of the early steps. 

When a lead is received:

  • Insert it into a Google Spreadsheet for later analysis.
  • Have it automatically subscribed to a specific MailChimp/Constant Contact mailing list
  • Post onto Twitter/Facebook/Instagram/RSS/Tumblr that you just had a lead on a possible used bike of a certain/make model to sell. (Be careful not to post personal details, freeform text and/or unmoderated photos onto publically accessible areas)
  • Create a Google Calendar entry to follow-up with the lead recipient in 15 days so a manager (or even just a Typeform.com / Survey Monkey survey) can make sure the trade in experience was smooth (and to possibly re-pitch the idea if the trade in never happened for some reason).
  • Use the Twilio link to send a text message to your Sales Manager that a lead has come in.
  • Any other ideas? We'd love to hear them!

Outside of integration with TRADE CYCLE, you can use "Zaps" for multitudes of internal business processes:

  • Tie your CRM solution into your mailings, calendaring, surveys.
  • Post won opportunities into accounting systems.
  • Post event reminders based on rules you setup straight onto social media automatically.
  • The list of ideas go on and on...
